Who would have expected that little Israel would lead the world into WW3?
It is Yahweh at the Head of Heaven’s armies, followed by the nations who will stand united against terror and tyranny who wage this war. Truly, this will be the ultimate trying of men’s souls, more than any other time in history. I don’t know if this is a preliminary set of battles and there will be peace for a time. But what I do see is that this is the beginning that leads to the end of the age. As appropriate, Israel has led the way.
We know from prophecy in the Scriptures that certain things will happen. The two witnesses shall be brought down. One witness is Israel, founded in the Old Testament, who became the first witness to Yahweh by bringing knowledge of Him and his laws and commandments. The beginning of wisdom is fear of God. He has standards. His laws teach us how to live. The witness of the Jews, as shown in the Old Testament represents that which the Jews have brought to the world.
The second witness is encapsulated in the New Testament. It is the Church. There are two nations that God Himself founded. One is Israel and one is America. Both will fight the wars to the end and be victorious, though all hell will break loose, and many will try to bring them down. The Church though, can be found worldwide. There is one place, a city of seven hills, that represents one Church more than any other. That city is Rome. Before the divisions in the Church, from Catholic to Protestant and further denominations, there was only one Church.
The two cities that represent the first witness and the second witness are Jerusalem and Rome. They will be the targets for destruction as another religion attempts to claim supremacy. It will be a serious and hard-fought struggle but Yahweh’s victory is certain. Guaranteed. Promised. He is the Creator and he will reclaim the world.
